2 Entry Level Assessment The institution planned and conducted an entrance test to identify the different learning needs of the students and also to provide the faculty members a good chance of measuring the knowledge and readiness of the student teachers to undergo a professional educational programme. This entrance test also helped to judge and to identify knowledge, ability, skill and learning needs of the student teachers. For the B.Ed student teachers, the entry behavior test was categorized into five different sections such as General English Comprehension, Teaching and Learning, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, ICT, Education and General Awareness. The educational research knowledge of the M.Ed students was analyzed.
The Pedagogy staff members assessed the entry behavior test papers and suggested to conduct a Bridge course for both B.Ed I year and M.Ed I year students who scored less than 50%. The students were insisted to meet the Academic Dean and register their names for the bridge course to enhance their teaching capability and logical thinking.
3 Exit Level Assessment In the beginning, the students’ learning needs were identified and the institution provides various activities and tasks to mold them to become reflective teachers. At the end of the programme, their progress is measured once again through exit level assessment.
An exit exam is a test that assesses a student's knowledge, ability, skill and competency.
